경산시는 16일부터 31일까지 자동차세 연납 신고·납부 기간을 운영한다.
자동차세 연납제도는 매년 6월과 12월 연 2회 납부하는 자동차세를 1월에 미리 납부하면 연세액 일부를 공제해주는 제도이다.
연납을 신청할 경우, 2월부터 12월까지 해당하는 세액의 7%(연세액 6.41%)를 할인받을 수 있다. 연납 신청은 위택스, 읍·면·동 행정복지센터, 시청 세무과로 전화 또는 방문으로 가능하다.
신청·납부기한은 1월 31일까지로 전국 모든 현금 자동입출금기(CD/ATM기)에서 고지서 없이 납부 가능하다. 인터넷 뱅킹, 위택스, ARS(1899-9888) 시스템으로도 간편하게 납부할 수 있다.
한편, 자동차세 연납 후, 차량 소유권 이전이나 폐차할 때는 그 이후 기간에 대한 자동차세를 환급받을 수 있다. 타 시·군으로 주소를 이전하는 경우에도 자동차세를 다시 낼 필요가 없다.
전미경 세무과장은 “시민중심 적극행정의 일환으로 연납제도를 다방면으로 홍보하고 있다. 올해 이 어려운 시기에 자동차세 연납제도를 통해 조금이라도 많은 경산시 시민이 절세혜택을 받을 수 있기를 바란다.”고 말했다.
