‘제5회 경산시장기 육상경기대회’가 25일 경산시민운동장에서 열렸다
경산시체육회가 주최하고 경산시육상경기연맹(회장 차정욱)이 주관하는 이 대회는 지역 육상 꿈나무를 육성하기 위해 매년 개최되고 있다.
5회를 맞은 올해 대회에는 지역 초등학교 선수 320명, 중학교 선수 72명이 참가해 80·100·800·400R 트랙경기와 높이뛰기·멀리뛰기·포환 던지기 등 필드경기에서 기량을 겨루었다.
대회를 주관한 차정욱 경산시육상경기연맹 회장은 대회사를 통해 “이번 대회를 통해 지역 유·소년 육상 꿈나무들의 발굴로 경산 육상 발전에 초석이 되길 기대한다.”고 전했다.
