경산소방서는 다가오는 추석 명절을 대비해 화재예방대책을 추진한다.
소방서는 코로나19 극복과 시민의 안전을 최우선으로 8월 16일부터 26일까지 화재예방대책을 추진해 대형 화재 방지와 인명피해 최소화에 총력을 다할 방침이다.
중점 추진 대책은 ▲연휴 기간, 산업단지 등 공장밀집 지역 관리인력 부재에 따른 화재안전관리 당부 ▲요양병원 등 화재취약시설 화재안전 컨설팅 ▲전통시장 상인회 자율 화재안전문화 확산 ▲대형마트, 터미널 등 다중이용시설 소방특별조사 ▲화재 취약 시간대 화재 예방 순찰 ▲화재 등 재난상황 신속 대응 및 상황관리체제 강화 등이다.
정윤재 서장은 “추석에 코로나19 변이 바이러스 확산으로 가족 간 소규모 숙박시설이나 주택에 머무르는 시간이 많을 것으로 판단된다.”라며, “화재로부터 안전하게 지낼 수 있도록 주택용 소방시설 비치와 공동주택 피난설비 사용법 숙지, 비상구 대피로 위치 파악에 관심을 가져주시길 바란다.”라고 전했다.
한편, 소방청에서 발표한 최근 5년(’17~’21년) 간 추석 연휴 기간 화재 발생 분석 결과, 화재발생 97건, 인명피해 6명(사망 1, 부상 5), 재산피해 23억원이 발생했다. 발생장소는 ‘주거시설’이 27%로 가장 많이 차지했고 발생원인은 ‘부주의’ 35%로 가장 많았다.
