‘2022 유니카코리아 국제영화제’가 19~20일 양일간 CGV 경산에서 열린다.
1931년 창설된 국제영화기구인 유니카 세계연맹에서 매년 세계 곳곳에서 개최하고 있는 영화제로 올해는 한국을 포함한 98개국에서 3,000여편의 작품을 출품했다. 출품작들은 폭력적이고 선정적인 영화들을 지양하고 사람들에게 감동과 교훈을 줄 수 있는 영화들로 엄선했다.
경산에서 열리는 유니카코리아 국제 영화제는 유니카 세계 국제 영화제에 출품할 한국 대표작품을 선발하는 장으로 본선에 진출한 46개 작품이 상영된다. 영화제가 끝난 이후에는 금상, 은상, 동상, 심사위원 특별상, 촬영상 등을 시상할 예정이다.
시 관계자는 “유니카 코리아 국제영화제를 통해 코로나로 지친 시민들의 마음이 치유될 수 있는 계기가 되길 바라며 국제영화제가 더욱 발전해 세계로 뻗어나가는 영화제로 자리 잡기를 기원한다.”고 전했다.
