▲ 학교법인 육주학원이 재단 설립 50주년을 맞아 27일 경산여고에서 '역사와 미래' 개관식을 가졌다.
학교법인 육주학원(이사장 박병립)은 지난달 27일 경산여자고등학교 교정에서 ‘재단 설립 50주년 기념 역사와 미래 개관식’을 가졌다.
이날 행사에는 박병립 육주학원 이사장과 박홍경 상임이사, 손병철 경산여고 교장, 육주학원 내 역대 교장·교감, 학부모 대표 등이 참석했다.
이날 개관한 ‘역사와 미래’는 육주학원의 역사와 전통을 사진과 자료에 담아 전시하고 있다.
박병립 이사장은 기념사에서 “우리 재단의 모든 시설 하나하나에, 심지어 교정에 핀 작은 풀꽃까지 내 손과 마음이 닿지 않은 곳이 없다. 이제 우리 육주학원은 지난 50년의 교육성과를 바탕으로 새롭게 도약하고자 한다.”고 말했다.
박홍경 상임이사는 “역사와 미래에는 ‘관(館)’이라는 이름이 붙어있지 않다. 육주학원의 역사와 현재는 물론 미래가 함께 살아 숨 쉬는 공간이기 때문이다. 50주년 넘어 백 년을 향해 뻗어나가는 육주학원의 내일을 기대해본다.”고 했다.
