하양읍 소재 하주초등학교는 7일 교정에서 이양균 교육장, 강수명 시의원, 학부모, 교직원, 학생 등이 참석한 가운데 다목적강당 ‘하주꿈마루’ 개관식을 가졌다.
다목적강당은 하주초 학생과 교직원들의 숙원사업이다. 강당의 이름인 ‘하주꿈마루’는 교직원, 학생, 학부모 등이 참여하는 투표를 통해 정했다.
앞으로 이 공간은 학생들의 체육수업과 교육활동, 학부모와 지역주민들을 위한 문화예술 공간으로 활용된다.
개관식에 참석한 학부모 대표는 “앞으로 ‘하주꿈마루’에서 아이들과 선생님 그리고 학부모 모두가 힘을 모아 즐겁고 행복한 학교를 만들어가면 좋겠다.”고 전했다.
