경산시-경북과총, 상호협력 MOU 체결
과학 기술발전 및 정책 개발에 힘 모으기로

▲ 한국과총 경북연합회와 경산시가 과학 기술 발전과 정책 개발을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
경산시는 한국과학기술단체총연합회 경북지역연합회(회장 서상곤, 이하 경북과총)와 과학 기술발전과 정책 개발을 위한 상호협력 업무협약을 체결했다.
협약에 따라 두 기관은 ▲지역 균형 및 과학 기술발전을 위한 공동연구 개발 및 지원 ▲지역 산업 육성과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 정책 개발 및 지원 ▲상호발전을 위한 인적 교류 등에 협력키로 했다.
협약식은 24일 시청 소회의실에서 열린 ‘2022 경북과총 리더스 미팅’에서 진행됐다.
이날 리더스 미팅은 ‘경산시 과학기술정책 추진 방향’이란 주제로 지역 산업발전을 위한 과학기술 정책과 향후 대책에 대한 다양한 의견이 오갔다.
조현일 시장은 “지역 과학인들의 고견을 적극적으로 반영해 경산만의 스마트도시 전략을 체계화하겠다. 4차 산업혁명 선도도시로 거듭나기 위한 경산시 과학기술 정책에 많은 관심과 격려를 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
